Candida was born in Germany the daughter of an army family. At the age of three she began telling people that she wanted to be a singer. Luckily her mother and sister were very supportive even though, as mother tells people, she couldn't always sing. She began to write poetry which eventually turned into lyrics in the sixth grade and forced herself to battle her stage fright by entering herself into talent shows, beauty pagaents, and auditioning for plays. She's lived in Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA with the goal of being a singer always at the forefront. She now resides in Dumfries, VA and sings with the band The Larry Thomas Project.
