Known, at the time, primarily as Tony Bennett's arranger, this is a track from a rare album by British-born Ralph Sharon. It is also a rarity for Motown Records Corp., one of their first album releases on their newly formed Gordy label, and one of their first albums by a foreign artist. The LP itself is interesting - a fusion of jazz and country & western; apparently Sharon decided to exclusively use "real" country musicians to back him as he did his traditional jazz style/piano. This is a mono track as this OOP LP was never issued in stereo, nor has it been released on cd. Here now is a cover of the classic Bob Wills song from the OOP 1963 Gordy LP "Modern Innovations On Country And Western Themes".
